  • Additive manufacturing

In Karten Space we develop our nanosatellites KEOSat using agile manufacturing methods such as advanced requirements engineering or additive manufacturing. Using these methods we can reduce the nanosatellite structure total mass, improve the volumetric efficiency inside the nanosatellite and enhance the design and integration facilities inside the KEOSat platform.

These new processes also enable us to reduce the manufacturing costs and lead times of our nanosatellites.

  • Dual Sensor

In Karten Space we want you don’t miss anything, because of that, all our nanosatellites KEOSat are equipped with a dual Earth observation sensor. An optical instrument to take images of the Earth with a resolution between 3 and 5 meters, and an Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver to detect the AIS signal emitted by the systems that all the boats in the world should carry mandatory.

With the AIS sensor we can also receive the data from remote sensor networks that are using the same protocols for the data transmissions.

Our nanosatellites are equipped with the the latest advancements in hardware technology. Using these edge technologies enable us to work with the data captured by our nanosatellites even before it arrives to our headquarters. So at this way we can reach the market as fast as possible.
